Try your hand at painting a sunset in oil. No experience needed.

We'll meet at a café in Makati for a small creative hangout. All materials are provided, and we paint the sunset one step at a time. Order some food & drinks, paint for three hours, and take your painting home.

The hangout

How to join

Five steps to your seat.

Choose your date

The dates are under Dates & fee. Each month paints something different, always in a small group.

Pay the fee

Scan the QR code in the sign-up form with your banking app or e-wallet. The form shows the fee for the day you're paying: early bird until 10 days before your hangout, regular after that, and walk-in on the day itself.

Submit the form and send the screenshot

Fill in your name and your Instagram/TikTok handle, then submit. Then message @unwakingart on Instagram/TikTok with a screenshot of your payment receipt. Your spot isn't saved until I get the screenshot.

In your message, include your hangout day and the name or handle you signed up with. After you submit, the form gives you this message ready to copy.

Get your confirmation

I check every payment myself and message you on Instagram/TikTok to confirm your seat. Your seat is yours once your payment is confirmed.

See you at the café

We paint from 11:30am to 2:30pm; come a few minutes early. Order your food and drink at the café when you arrive.

Refunds and transfers

Each hangout needs at least 3 people. If fewer have signed up by the Wednesday 10 days before, I'll cancel it and message you that day. You can choose a full refund, or move your fee to another date.
If you can't come, the fee is non-refundable, because the hangout still runs for the rest of the group. You may give your seat to a friend instead. Message @unwakingart on Instagram/TikTok with their name at least 3 days before the hangout.

Photos and videos

I take photos and videos during the hangout, and unwakingart uses them for marketing and advertising.

Materials and allergies

We paint with oil paints, painting mediums and solvents. These can cause reactions in people with allergies, asthma or other sensitivities.
You are responsible for knowing your own allergies and sensitivities. If you have any, please check with your doctor before you sign up.
You join at your own risk. unwakingart and the café are not liable for allergic or other reactions to the materials.
